One way to find out if your computer supports Bluetooth Smart technology is to install Logitech Options. You can download Logitech Options from the MX Master Download page.
Run the Logitech Options software installation, and when you see the window “No devices detected”, click Add Devices.
If your computer supports Bluetooth Smart, the installation will continue. You’ll see a statement on the right side of the window stating that your computer supports Bluetooth Smart devices. Click Add Bluetooth device to finish setting up your mouse. For more information, see Connect the MX Master mouse to a Bluetooth device.
If your computer doesn’t support Bluetooth Smart, you can still use your MX Master using Logitech’s Unifying technology. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up a Unifying device.
NOTE: If you feel the Bluetooth information provided in Logitech Options is incorrect, please contact your computer manufacturer.
